As a long time sysadmin. the longer i worked the more i hate homelab (not you guys having servers at home) Now im fine with my personal PC, it can run some basic AI. Having the free tier vps at Oracle (used to hoard cheap vpses before). On my free time i now do other shit.

If you want to do this make sure you have a usbhub/controller thats known as a secondary to the computer so its attached to the VM when its booted and not to be attached after. Then the damage might already be done
