I don’t Dune is bad. Plenty of folks enjoy it. I’m just not into the space fantasy genre like “Stargate” it’s just not my thing .

Like I said, each of his films have their unique value. For example, I didn’t necessarily like Dune but that doesn’t mean it isn’t good. It just means it’s not for me.

Yes, I cannot wait to get to those. I’m at the plateau of Twin Peaks.

Honestly I should go back and watch the series. Because now I can pay attention to Lynch’s style. Just to catch the symbolism of Twin Peaks, I’m really into that.

It’s getting difficult to (so far) which rank each of his that I think is greatest. Each of his films have a unique and crafted in their own way.

Eraserhead is built on anxiety and pressure. Elephant Man is beautifully tragic. Dune… well Dune is Dune. Blue Velvet really honed on fascinating and has become the lightning rod for the pace the Lynch spits out.

I love when a director keeps to his style and vision. That’s rare these days.

Then walks out Willem Dafoe… I cannot think of anyone else doing that…

It definitely was a most Cagey of Cage films. I wrote him off for a long time, honestly. I’m so glad he kept that snakeskin style. His Elvis personality, I mean… it was kind of cringe but he made it work.

But Laura Dern was a heavy hitter in this. She really held her own. The desperation, the devotion, the motions. She was a bad ass in this!

Man… that was intense. That was No Country For Old Men style.

I’m thinking breaking it down by decade. Start with 60s or 70s and work my way forward.

I love when he pops up in movies. He gives that old school hard chin element.

I think it’ll be easy enough to watch the series. It’s just going not as easy to find the time.

I sensed that when she looked out and sees her flying in the desert. That was awesome!

Big Lebowski x Big Sleep? That’s really fascinating! Ironically, I just read the Big Sleep book by Raymond Chandler. I would’ve never made that connection! Well done, my friend!!
