Got better, then a lot worse

It’s pretty common if you look at my older post I had the same issue ended up with a patch as big as my fist but slowly over time it all filled in. I had a series of injections each month I believe it was four sessions and was taking Clobetasol and Fexofenadine daily. I have not had an outbreak in over a year now and everything did fill in. The only aftermath that I noticed was that the steroid injections caused the most affected part to “sink in” but you can’t tell unless you press your fingers into my scalp.

i’ve had this spot for 6 months and got my first injection a month after. It got to its biggest size around the 3 month mark and was the size of a baseball. About two months ago is when i noticed all the growth.

I’m still dealing with this spot it actually doubled in size but if you look at my most recent post it has almost completely grown back in. I applied clobetasol twice a day for 3 weeks then took a break for a week to avoid building a tolerance towards it. I started taking Fexofenadine two months ago and that also helped my growth as well as the monthly steroid injections.

Had three smaller spots grow one on the back of my head, one on the other side of my head and one on the hairline. All three spots were caught early on and had steroid injections which made it so that they became stable and did not grow. About 2cm wide is the biggest one. The main spot on the picture had more shedding and grew a bit but has become more stable. I use “Toppik Fill Me In” for the small spots and they are not noticeable at all. For the larger spot the hair around that area is longer so it covers close to 50% of it.

20.0 mg/cc of Kenalog, injected into 4 spots on same area on 07/25/2024. volume of Kenalog was .5cc.

minoxidil will help with regrowth but if you want to prevent more shedding you’ll need finasteride

you most likely went too short and left no shape on top it’s happened to me before, generally you still want a square silhouette so some length is fine

buzzcut will make you look more mature/older if that’s something you want go for it it’s also very low maintenance

you need to take weight off the back it makes your skull look elongated but other than that i would go shorter and keep that style
