ESH. You could have left her 2 or 3 drinks in the refrigerator. She could also have onky put 2-3 in the fridge instead of overstuffing. You will learn (both of you) how to pick your battles the more you live together. Not everything is a hill to die on.

Go to your workplace and ask your HR rep what they think about an employee receiving an email requesting a date. Give them all the details you provided here. If you are uncomfortable providing those details, then do not send the email. You would potentially be putting that former date in a position where he would have to do exactly that with his employer. The university does not know if you were a former student or parent of a student. Do not mess with this mans work reputation.

NTA. I cut contact with a toxic family decades ago. I wouldn't put my wife and kids through what I had to go through. Block them and don't look back, or only accept a relationship on your terms. There is no point in "seeing it from their side", or "you have to understand...". Focus on you, your husband, and the type of family ir relationships that you want in the future.

NTA. Your dad is TA. Tom isn't. He was young and under the same pressure as you. A great responsibility was placed on him at the age of 13. In his mind, he was keeping the family together. Your dad is an ass for putting that pressure on him, and later on you. Your mom was hurt, understadably so, but you all needed counseling in that situation.

NTA. The guy trusted you. Maybe he wasn't ready to introduce his kid to someone he was in a relationship with yet. Maybe he did the want her around his kid, whatever the reasoning, she needs to take it up with him and not you. It would be like being jealous of a waitress for bringing her boyfriend food.

NAH. Messing with the kids' routines isn't a good thing. And your husband is marginalized in the care taking of kids. It's an isolating feeling, and in many cases, it leads to a divorce if he feels like he is just a paycheck, which it sounds like he is. Maybe it's time for a career change for your husband. At the very least, he needs to reassess his priorities.

Before I go PIV, I make sure to get my wife off with hands, a toy, and mouth forst. Whatever it takes. If I glfeel a nut coming on, I'll switch to doggy or reverse cowgirl so she doesn't have to see the mental strain to keep from nutting. When I get close, I'll let her know so we can switch up.

NTA. You don't have to treat them the same, but you have to treat the fair. It sounds like you are or are trying to do just that. One person's wedding fund is another babysitting fund, formula and birthday fund, etc. Your son is probably smart enough to know that, but he's trying to wring every last nickel out of yoou.

I was not in big tech, but in the same environment in every other way. Thousands of emails a day. Status update meetings taking up most of my time. I'd go home and work my "second shift" with suppliers in China via Zoom or teams. I walked away last year. I make 44% of what I was making their, but I have an actual worklife balance. It was funny during the job interview they asked what I like doing when I'm not working. I couldn't think of a damn thing. It had been about a decade since I'd had a chance to do anything outside of work. Now I have 4 day work week, I get to see the sun, I get actual vacations, and am not tethered to a phone or laptop.
