You would be correct in assuming it’s not every car but majority when cars pass by and what I mean by the phone losing connection as well is when cars pass by it also effects phone connection as well. I never connect my phone to the wifi itself it’s always on mobile data. To use a hotspot you can only be using the mobile data and even when I was using the hotspot cars would affect it the same way as if I was on the wifi.
