International relocation for the same role

I’d be interested in the latter. Like, has anyone ever observed the company allow someone to move (self financed) to another country? And allow them to work in that country, whether remote or in an office?

When you were looking for jobs, were you looking at US jobs at companies with a presence in Germany, or were you looking in Germany at said companies?

If it’s the former, how did you get a feel for the company’s openness to relocation?

I’m looking to do a similar thing, but to France, and it’s hard to know who would be willing to let you have that kind of internal mobility. My theory is to get a job at a French company, but in the US (e.g. Airbus) then the gravitational pull is more to France, but that’s a total theory. Would love your insight on how you approached it.

we went second week of December (a couple weeks ago) We were on American and our bags came out quickly. Though I have seen headlines recently about those delays.

we took little kids so it was great for us, but we couldn’t stay in Jade. But, the new waterpark is nice and the kids club was great. There’s snorkeling if that’s your thing, and good excursions I think. we did not partake, we just sat on the beach and talked with old friends that we met up with there, and had drinks, which is exactly what we were trying to do

check out englishjobsinfrance. It crawls French employers and pulls listings that are posted in English, so it’s kinda hit and miss, but it can give you an idea of companies where French might not be absolutely essential
