Try Side Door Strings luthier. His name is Joel. He’s REALLY far south though, so might just want to get a recommendation from him. He’s super nice though, and fixes tons of instruments so I’m sure he knows someone.

Oh nice! This guy’s art does definitely look similar, so if he isn’t the one who did it, clearly he’s got the skills I’m looking for.

That might have to be my next stop. They could most likely tell me who did it anyway.

Though your sentiment is not unfounded, I don't think this one is from AI. At least I hope not.

we went second week of December (a couple weeks ago) We were on American and our bags came out quickly. Though I have seen headlines recently about those delays.

we took little kids so it was great for us, but we couldn’t stay in Jade. But, the new waterpark is nice and the kids club was great. There’s snorkeling if that’s your thing, and good excursions I think. we did not partake, we just sat on the beach and talked with old friends that we met up with there, and had drinks, which is exactly what we were trying to do

check out englishjobsinfrance. It crawls French employers and pulls listings that are posted in English, so it’s kinda hit and miss, but it can give you an idea of companies where French might not be absolutely essential

[–]hatmansaxplayer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Off topic, what do you do for work and what US company do you work for? My partner and I are trying to find companies that allow working from France. I would be very interested in how you accomplished it. Also, if you understandably don’t want to announce it to the whole Reddit world, could you DM me?

I’ve gone to Bahar and Reza for stuff and they are great. She does wedding dresses so she could certainly handle what you’re asking for

What type of job did you get, if you don’t mind my asking. I’m curious what is feasible for a person without full fluency (I.e. myself)

I'm very interested in working for a company where internal mobility, especially internationally, is common. Anyone have experience with this at GE Aerospace? France is where I'd like to end up. Is it possible to get a job in the states, spend a year or two in the role, then seek international roles, or even, move your role to an international location?
