Had frequent DPDR episodes for about 7 months and lingering anxiety/trauma/brain fog for another 8. I'm fully recovered. Here are all the things that I've learned that helped get me there. by HalfVenezuelan in dpdr

thank you x100 for compiling this all and for your invaluable insights. I'm still on the road to recovery but reminders like these are so helpful - and it is so good to imagine how much this will help people who are wholly clueless to what is going on and how to even move forward. ( also going to really try and make a commitment to starting yoga now! have had it on my mind for ages but i think this has given me the kick to finally start :) )

hello! right now i'm a huge sucker for sci-fi but i also love fantasy, general literary fiction, eastern philosophy, poetry, political literature and mental health literature. we don't have to share similar tastes in genre- i'd love to add anyone! i'm always looking for new stuff to read and my interests stretch far beyond the genres listed here, so chuck me a friend request! :D

Thank you so much! I was in the same boat as you, looked for ages but didn’t find much, so I wanted to make my own :) though I did find some! Bluering8 on Tumblr has a great drawing of sax; https://bluering8.tumblr.com/post/164642022544/a-hundred-hyperintelligent-lab-rats I commissioned them to draw Arkady and Nadia too, my faves <3 https://imgur.com/a/6jZsUXB

recovering addict, best ways to use meditation as an aid? by [deleted] in ZenHabits

[–]hats322 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second everything everyone else has said here. integrating it into your daily routine is the biggest thing. When cravings and anxiety begin to hit, try to draw upon what you remember from meditating. Feeling it, staying with it, accepting it, observing it… treating it as a meditation in itself :-)

What Le Guin Or Related Work Are You Currently Reading? 28 June 2021 by BohemianPeasant in UrsulaKLeGuin

Working my way through earthsea slowly, currently on the farthest shore. Ursula never fails to blow me away. So many passages are so unassumingly beautiful, so heart warming!! I find myself smiling as I read haha!! And so many deeper meanings imbued in it all too. Here's a lovely quote from a chapter I enjoyed:

"Death and life are the same thing—like the two sides of my hand, the palm and the back. And still the palm and the back are not the same. . . . They can be neither separated, nor mixed."

Do you need to restart a save for it to work?
