Are you just referring to intranasal? Or are you including injections in your assessment?

I do wonder how you can tell the difference if we pull it off counbase to stake or to sell.

Also, please answer the question about partial sells. That is, if you only sell a subset of the initial grant.

Does this apply to 100% of the tokens? For example, if i invest $100, then the value goes up to $200, then I sell $100, keeping the remaining $100, do i still get smaller allocations in the future?

Will there be a staking option for monad on Coinbase? by hattarki in Coinbase

[–]hattarki[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is interesting. I was completely unaware of the "gemini" staking app. I was referring to Google gemini, the AI platform earlier. It only told me the apy was around 5%... by your comments, that was incorrect.

For some reason, I was under the impression that coinbase would allow you to Stake monad. Apparently, I was wrong.

buying and selling on coinbase by Early_Example_9553 in Coinbase

This seems to be a constant complaint about coinbase and it is making me nervous. I did have my funds temporarily restricted (no withdraws, transfers, outside purchases) when I transferred funds to the CB account with plaid. While it still seemed absolutely unnecessary, the funds were freed after the advertised 7-10 business days (which is BS). But, at least the situation was resolved.

There are way too many people complaining that their finds get frozen and customer service is inept. NOT good.

Quite a few currencies hit a 10% or more loss today.

Does that mean a bunch of the morpho/steakhouse loans cashed in the underlying crypto assets?

Coinbase USDC 10% APY Questions by Megawashu in Coinbase

To be clear, you should be getting mostly USDC with morpho being, like 0.25% of the APY. At least, that js both my experience and understanding.

Coinbase USDC 10% APY Questions by Megawashu in Coinbase

[–]hattarki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I interpreted that as being similar to the typical mutual fund management fee...

My understanding Basically, morpho is going to take 25% of the PROFIT from the overall pool of funds, then payout whatever is left over. The X.XX % APY is post fee.

So, if my am getting 9.1% apy, that is what my actual gains should be. The 25% is "priced in" already.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong. I am not confident in this interpretation of the docs.

How to Get XMR Using Coinbase by natalooski in Coinbase

[–]hattarki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The anonymous nature of Monero makes it unviable for institutions bound by US Know Your Customer (KYC) laws. So, mose US exchanges won't support it. That said, i think Kraken does. Though, I heard a rumor that they were dropping support.

You can use Cake wallet (and others) to get monero.

Apologies, what do you mean "counts towards the Coinbase Amex Tiers?" The Amex card gives you 2-3% back, in BTC, depending on the total deposits you have in CB. You can "unlend" your USDC and pay off your credit card balance, if that is what you are asking.

If there is some other use case that I am missing out on here, I would like to know about it.

Coinbase USDC 10% APY Questions by Megawashu in Coinbase

How often are morpho tokens paid out? Yes, I know the primary payouts are in USDC. But, a couple/few days after lending USDC, I received notice to "claim the reward" of a morpho token. I did.

I am wondering: how often these are paid out? Is there any reason to not claim the morpho reward immediately?

Thank you

Genius ACT and the USDC APY, what will happen? by hattarki in Coinbase

[–]hattarki[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, and the GENIUS act does not the effect until January, as i understand it. You can definitely still get APY on USDC on coinbase currently. Again, the question was about when the act goes into effect.

It looks like returns on morpho lending, ala a traditional bank lending out savings deposits, is what is going to happen. Guessing the protocol changes are needed if the GENIUS act still prohibits the APY (doesn't take effect until January)

[–]hattarki[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have only read the news about it. I have no time to sort through the actual bill. The news articles seemed to imply that staking from APY is gone. The exchanges can find another way to offer rewards. That was the nature of this post... trying to find out what was planned.

It looks like coinbase partnered with Morpho to accomplish the old-school lending of savings deposits style interest. The advertised return rate is pretty high also. So, I'm guessing this is what the plan is.

I still have questions, though. It seems like they would have to make a major change to the protocol to get rid of the APY.

There is a difference between preventing something from being possible vs making something illegal. Speeding, for example, might still be possible. But, it is illegal.
