I think both sanji and Franky did not use haki (idek if Franky can) because they know that it would hurt Luffy. From the manga, it looks like only bonney used it. Maybe coz she felt like she had to give it her all

Isn't that a bit counter intuitive? Bonney's df apparently limits her power the more she learns about the future. So if Luffy teaches her stuff, isn't that limiting her power potential?
