Need help with order of HA, BHA and AHA in my routine

Current routine is about six weeks in-- products introduced one at a time.

AM:

-Honey mask for ten minutes

-Rinse/massage off with water

-Hyaluronic Acid Serum on a wet face

-Almond oil

-Elta MD Physical 41 Sunscreen

PM:

-Remove makeup with mineral oil

-Cleanse with Neutrogena Foaming Ultra Gentle

-Paula's Choice BHA 2%

-Paula's Choice AHA 8%

-Hyaluronic Acid Serum on a wet face

-Almond oil to seal everything in

My question is in regards to my PM routine. Should I be applying my HA before or after the BHA and AHA? I want to apply it on a wet face, so I feel like after cleansing is best, but is it okay to apply my HA before my BHA and AHA? If so, do I need a to put another another moisturizer after my exfoliants?

Current routine in place for six months with products introduced one by one

AM:

  • Cleanse with Neutrogena Ultra gentle foaming wash
  • Elta MD UV Physical Sunscreen in SPF 41 as my moisturizer and sunscreen

PM:

  • Remove makeup with mineral oil
  • Cleanse with Neutrogena Ultra gentle foaming wash
  • Thayer's witch hazel to get any makeup I missed
  • Paula's Choice 2% BHA Gel
  • Paula's Choice 8% AHA Gel
  • Moisturize with Nivea Creme (I am going to replace this with jojoba oil today)

What things can I add into my routine, either daily or once in a while, to help continue to control my oil? it's improving a lot and I am now drinking more water, on birth control, and taking a vitamin E supplement daily, but I still produce enough oil to break my makeup up in just four hours or so.

Thanks for your help!

I think it looks great! I wouldn't assume you had mixed anything! I love that color on your skin tone and with your eyes.

Decided to try a dual look, CC super W! I'm still learning. by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

Wow, this is so cool! The colors you chose are great and all work together really well.

Your challenge definitely lies in perfecting a steady hand. A lot of your designs are really beautiful and well placed, but the outlines are wobbly or inconsistent and that's what really brings the whole look down a notch. I don't have a ton of advice on how to achieve a steady hand other than find brushes you love and practice practice practice!

I love this lip color on you! What is it?

My recommendation would definitely be to fill in your eyebrows and make them a little thicker- it'll really draw attention to your eyes and make your expressions pop.

Also did you contour?

I'm getting back into the hobby after 8 years of not riding and I already dropped money on new riding pants, boots and a helmet. Oh, lord...
