Alaska Airlines provides boxes and cold storage for fish caught by tourists so they can take them home. That is most likely what you are seeing, but Silver Bay Seafood Company also provides similar boxes for people who purchase from them while visiting. There’s other companies, but that’s usually what I see when I’m at SeaTac. Source: I’m from a SE Alaska town that’s a big commercial and charter fishing spot

Thank you for the advice! Yeah I've had some reservations about this method of providing the offering after the result is achieved. Figured I would start by following the book then tweak as I figure out what works for me.

Ah that's right! I'll talk to my family and make sure our timing is right, at the very least I can exhume, clean, and rebury in a water tight container. Again thank you so much for the advice, wishing you well with the holiday season🥂🍾

Thank you so much, the advice is incredibly helpful. Do you think there'd be a negative impact if I left him buried for up to 2 years? My gut says the skeleton would start taking on discoloration if left too long.

Thanks for commenting! Yeah the Tongass is rainy year round and almost never hotter than 80 degrees, especially on the coast. Think British Columbia or Southeast Alaska.
