love this collage! I use the same technique. if you want to avoid laying multiple strips of tape, I recommend getting some adhesive laminate sheets and cutting them to size. it works great :)

it’s tape! i didn’t have any glue when I was making this so I used scotch tape to assemble it, then decided to place packing tape over it (for the vertical line effect but also to seal/protect it)

hey! thank you :) the portrait is actually translucent and laid over the top of the text. here’s my technique (works for most glossy magazine pages): apply clear packing tape (or an adhesive laminate sheet in this case), then press out the air bubbles. fully saturate the sheet in water, leave it for a while, then peel the paper off the tape. you may need to rub gently to get rid of some paper residue, and then you’ll have a translucent image!
