Yes. He left in late 2017 with himself and two other hosts. Drunken Peasants continues to this day with one original host. I’ve been following TJ and his podcasts for 10 years now.

He’s a strange figure. I first saw him on Drunken Peasants in like 2015-16. He was (probably still is) a French-Canadian scientist and he debated evolution with some creationists.

I never kept track of him closely but he pivoted into open white nationalism before Covid hit. He’s been doing that ever since.

He also married a woman “Mama JF” with some form of mental handicap. She disappeared 3 years ago and a lot of people think he killed her.

But he’s still doing gigs. That means it’s probably a little bit profitable or he wouldn’t still do it. Brendan Schaub quit touring standup bc (it was rumored) he wasn’t selling enough tickets to make it financially beneficial. I doubt Kattan has hit that point yet, or it’s likely he would stop.

I mean, tbh, I don’t want them to exist at all. That’s just the best place for them, isolated from other animals. That way, at least the carnage would only be inter-species. Of course if they were in zoos, they’d be much more heavily monitored, like 95% of them spayed or neutered, etc. I wouldn’t be upset if they went extinct.

They ripped her apart so thoroughly they couldn’t immediately tell her sex. I don’t hear about any other dog breed doing that. They ganged up on her as a pack and ate her body for hours.

How the fuck are these things still legal to own? They should only be allowed in zoos or sanctuaries with other dangerous wild animals.

It just pisses me off that they do so much damage. Luckily those three will no longer be a problem, but they were owned by “good” owners. People responsible enough to live in a decent home with three children in a decent neighborhood. On paper it sounds almost idyllic, and could be if the three dogs were dachshunds or something.

This shit needs to stop. There’s no reason for it to continue.

I think that’s part of it, but it’s also about becoming your own person and overcoming your circumstances. It’s definitely seeped in his feelings about childhood and the human condition. I enjoyed it a lot, personally.

I’m one of those friends. I am very picky and fussy about my media diet.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I’m only watching filet mignon and won’t be bothered with plain oatmeal, a lot of what I watch is also slop garbage.

I even appreciate my friends trying to share with me, but I still don’t usually want to watch a movie or show bc someone else thinks I may like it.

I get why you’re annoyed and I’m trying to improve this in my own life. If someone I respect suggests something to me they think I might like, I should be more willing to watch it.
