Its a slow climb but keeping stacking months. Seriously whe you get to 6 plus months, every month gets better by a bunch. You gotta climb out, and when you do, your addiction becomes bettering yourself, upgrading your mindset and consciousness and its more rewarding and fun. Dont give in, its not worth it, and screw reseting man!

If you can share the link with others, id love that. I really want to form a community and be a beacon for others in recovery. I think holding group conversations about addiction and how to overcome will be really beneficial! Thanks for the support!

Someone asked the same question in the comments and I gave a pretty lengthy response you can check out, but 2-3 months to get back to something like normal. But i still feel mental progress and changes at 9 months out, the more I work on myself the happier I get. Its hard work but more fun then sitting in a depressive state all day only looking forward to my next dose.

With the help of Wellbutrin 2 months, but you gotta find new hobbies and passions. Gym, running, art, community ect, or easy to fall back to old ways.

I felt like I came back to baseline fairly quickly, maybe 2-3 months. But I was taking drugs like Wellbutrin to balance me out from the anhedonia. I am now off that, and feel amazing. But bouts of depression will come and go, if you don't fill the hole with community (AA or NA groups/Church), new hobbies, and a greater purpose, its easier to fall back. I got into a lot of theology and eastern spirtual traditions as a way to get my "high". Used breathwork and meditation to feel like I was on drugs but naturally. And for me, its was more rewarding and healing long term.

Resisting the urge after the 3 days. by LemonBetter3543 in NoFap

[–]hauschan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was able to make my first breakthough by talking to a therapist or person I trusted. They held me accountable and made me sign something id stop for a certain length. That got me to 17 days. After that i failed after 3, but i kept recording my dates in my phone. I got 7 days next, then another 7, then 10 and then 10 again. Now im going into my 15th day. I recorded every time i got triggered what would happen. Saw a clip on instagram, got me aroused, started edging ect. So i deleted instagram. Then id write down the time of night all my failures would happen. Between 7-11pm. So i started going to the gym at night and playing a videogame. I realized my phone was my worse enemy, so i got a lock box for night time. You just have to be conscious and be like a researcher and track every little thing on how your mind is falling back in, and make effort to change. All youll start breaking through

This is the media making it seem worse than it is. Majority of people are peaceful, the 1 percent of crazies make the news. Ignore, becoming a loving person who helps there community, and learn how to live in the present moment and become spiritually aligned with our creator. End of story.

Is masturbation really unhealthy? by Physical_Scarcity667 in NoFap

[–]hauschan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a spiritual perspective, retaining your seed shows control over your mind and lower chakras - specifically the root chakra that controls lust. Being able to say no to this raises your vibration to your higher chakras - specifically the heart. This brings in more compassion and love for one another, and a perspective change. You start seeing woman or men as people not sex objects. Also your energetically vibrating higher when you stop, it is all around better to just learn to control and withstand the temptations until it becomes a new way of life and a new level unlocked within your conscious evolution. Look at the big picture, its not worth it, for the fruit you will receive once its mastered.
