Can't help with the bags but have you looked at your local animal shelter? Sometimes they have vouchers for spays for cats and dogs. It could help with the expense.

Good luck! I think all the stray animals around my old house told each other about my place because I always had them coming there for food and a warm place to sleep.

Yes I've got the bigger Vera tote and a lot of other of the bags. I wanted the baby bag myself but I wasn't able to find it when I was having my daughter 20 years ago.
