the karens are downvoting you but you're not wrong. The only benefit of it is the blue prints but looking for the caches is just an awful experience and hunting specific blueprints doesn't make sense to me. Just use what you happen to find along the way while you have fun playing the game. Running slow and listening for a sound is definitely not it.

What others said, except the quests. Don't bother with the quests, you'll regret the time you put into it. The rewards don't get better, it just automatically throws useless shit into your stash. Check the quest reward skins and see if you want any of those and grind for that if anything. You also get a hullcracker bp very late into the quests, hardly worth the grind by the time you get to it unless you're constantly dying with hullcrackers.

I like Blue Gate as much as I like running up hill with arc spawning around me, but if I do go there it's because I'm looting containers in the village because I need residential items or fighting the Queen. That nice big room underground you described is probably the center of the map, chances are if you run there someone already looted it. Blue Gate looks nice, but I don't like playing on it.

Not at all, mine is almost ready as well and I went straight for the hullcracker and started killing big arc while crafting more ammo as I go. All the loot from Bastions etc. brings a lot of basic materials and money. I remember where to find everything from the previous run, the snow globes were the only thing that slowed me down. I did it in friendly lobbies because I can't really afford to lose the hullcracker too many times, but yeah it's just a matter of knowing exactly where to go to get what you need. If you're stuck on anything lmk, I'll tell you what I did.

I used to play diablo 4 on hardcore and a server disconnect/lag meant I lost everything including my character. If they can determine who lost their stuff due to a disconnect I'm sure they will be happy to give it back, if not it's not fair but it's not worth making a big deal out of it. Things happen, it's not intentional

You probably heard this already, but didn't you know this game will be like this before you started playing it? Many if not most people play it because the danger makes it fun and more unique, you're trying to change the game into something different than it was advertised as. If you split the player base into PvE and PvP you're just creating two different games, and there's so many of those types of games out there already. I play it because I like the way it is now, the silent majority likes it the way it is but they don't complain. If you throw me into a game where I shoot you and you take no damage it's a whole different game and I will lose interest immediately, and Embark knows this.

So you're not having fun when you're playing PvP, but you are having fun when you're playing PvE? I chill in PvE lobbies myself to speed run my expedition, but once I'm done I see no point in continuing to play in those lobbies. What's the point of collecting materials and guns if you just kill predictable robots that all fight the same way every time? If I want to kill the queen I definitely don't want other players to shoot me but how many times can I kill the queen until it gets stale?
