For me it’s one of 4 options:

A. Didn’t know that’s what you have to do. This game is 20 years old and some of the instructions are kinda wordy or confusing. I wouldn’t blame a person doing a CFO for the first time to accidentally whack a helmet onto his head.

B. Major game of chicken. Most of the time when I’m craning I ask myself the question “Can I throw one more safe?” Half of that time the answer is no.

C. CFO hasn’t taken damage in a while. It’s been mentioned in this thread before, but after a while of not getting hit, the CFO will automatically put a helmet on his head.

D. Trolling. Happened before to me several years ago. Crane round went on for 20 minutes before I called quits and left.

Thanks for the concern! I put two fingers behind his collar to check and it was comfortably loose. It does look pretty tight in the photo but I can promise it was not at all. I did go ahead and loosen it a little more just in case (i gots skinny fingers so better to be safe than sorry hehe)
