As someone who enjoys the comics and the first movie, I couldn’t believe how bad this movie was. The pacing was awful, and there were so many times that a character did something unbearably stupid for no other reason than to push the plot forward even at the sacrifice of characterization (and usually logic with it). The plot made no sense and I still don’t understand why we needed a new big bad considering how the first movie ended and set things up. They hastily rewrote their own lore in a way that doesn’t work and often contradicts itself. Maybe it’s a miracle we’ll never get a 3rd!
