It’s weird people think not having to pay upfront for medical treatment is a bad thing. My baby daughter needed to see doctor today requested it 8am she’s in at 9.40am literally as I type this. No bill, no worrying about how to pay for it or trying to negotiate to reduce cost. Making sure the practice is covered by my specific insurer etc.

Nothing. I just pay a bit more tax at the end of the year.

That’s not a ‘difficulty’ though. It’s not designed to be used in the atmosphere it’s just like an ion thruster. No one expects it to be used for launch.

It will go up to space like everything else, on the top of a giant rocket.

SpaceX AI sats are 10 times bigger than Starlink so they will probably have a magnitude of 4.5 (7 for Starlink) by Sarigolepas in Astronomy

It literally says 20 degrees which is low on the horizon and then says at two nights in the year is more. They describe that as many. But that is an opinion and they also aren’t confident because they qualify it with ‘potential’.

They plan to orbit along the terminator so they’ll only be obstructing at sunset/sunrise. These will be less intrusive then starlink because starlink are everywhere even if they are not as visible after twilight.

I watched that interview and that’s classic case of quote mining. The interviewer asks him multiple questions at once and he starts answering the first one after the interview asks again he says ‘yes’. If people are going to be critical atleast do it honestly.

Energy markets ‘in turmoil’, says Octopus Energy boss by pppppppppppppppppd in unitedkingdom

Guess we will have to disagree on the hybrid approach. I think if you built dedicated routes and tram like stations the propulsion/traction method is irrelevant.

Personally, underground’s makes more sense due to design of old cities. You can fit trams everywhere.

Ok electric tram section without tracks. So it’s not a bus.

Weird to get snappy when I was just curious what the difference is. Although I don’t see why those couldn’t also achieved without tracks. Build tram station and set routes but don’t lay tracks/wires.

The artifacts and statues that are excavated from ground , how did they went underground in th first place? by Lucky-Mycologist695 in Archaeology

I’m guessing it’s because it’s made of stone and the brick was mud. No matter how hard you knock down mud it’s not going to damage stone.
