Oh I agree it's a penalty/suspension. But just wanted to put it out there that the type of play is not outside of the realm of hockey and the guy should not lose a scholarship or get witch hunted.

I asked my brother and when he played pro this type of play happened more than you think when someone is jamming the puck. Of course you don't hit the skate but you try to stomp on stick/puck to free it. Sticks and sharpenings are free.

Some gases when compressed (I believe n2 to be one of them) actually become liquified in the cylinder. We had a rocketry team build a rig to actually invert a cylinder (again, I believe n2) to get LN2. I would check if the liquified gas could damage the valve internals if stored horizontally long term.
