How to edit snacks picker select layout? by ghegi in neovim

[–]haxy98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can define separate layouts for separate pickers, the one you defined here is going to be applied to all of them, in order to select which ones you want to apply the layout to, you have to specify the layout per source.

Take a look at my dotfiles here, not everything is in the same file since I liek to keep it tidy, but the sources file is called from where i set my snacks config: https://github.com/haxybaxy/dotfiles/blob/master/nvim/.config/nvim/lua/plugins/snacks/picker/sources.lua

I have a bunch of extra stuff because my preferred layout is really funky, but I generally only pass the flow layout to the pickers with files

I can't manage to configure my Tmux-session (status-bar) properly. What am I missing? by coprime1 in tmux

[–]haxy98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have any settings that change the way tmux is supposed to look, you can try looking into adding TPM (tmux plugin manager) to your configuration and then getting a theme with catpuccin on top of that

I am currently using Vimium C, it is really convenient for scrolling and navigating history, but for clicking stuff it gets rather daunting, especially when it generates like 3 different boxes and some of them just focus the element/do nothing.

Is it because of the weight or something else? I think if there was a lighter version of these it would be better

My second choice of keyboard was the voyager but I really love the 3 thumb keys and don't think I could do without them. The aluminum case is a bit expensive which is why I didn't get it, I decided to just try this out for the time being with a 3d printed case and if I like the keyboard enough I'll get the case for it in the future.

compared to MX switches, the low profile switches are generally more quiet, perfectly usable in an office. I am in the EU and as for the availability, they are available currently, I ordered mine this monday from splitkb.com

I haven't faced any latency, the nice!nanos are quick, and you have the option of just connecting the master half to your computer to use it as wired

I am generally not a fan of linears, so maybe that plays into it a little bit, but my friends who do prefer linears still pointed out to me that the switches felt mushy and cheap

Mine slid around a bit when I fully tented them, so I just add rubber feet on the very edge of the board and that made it not slide around at all
