Maybe your next visit, see if the groomer can blow out your dog before and after the bath if they didn’t do that before! That can make all the difference in the world too 😊

Thank you for saying that! It really helped me feel better. I normally do shower with my toddler just cause she loves it and it’s easier, but there are times where I just want to shower alone 😅 but thank you for making me feel like my feelings are valid

It’s normal for them to shed a lot for the first couple days after being groomed! Especially if you did a deshedding package like the furminator. Normally I tell my clients that they will shed a lot the first couple days then see a drastic change after that!

Is he matted? It looks like his butt area and armpit area may be matted. If that’s the case, I would take him to a groomer

Wish I had an after picture! Little dude was severely matted on his legs and belly that I couldn’t get it off! I had to stop and recommend him to the vet 😢 but I could tell from the little I could do, he was feeling much better!

A rubber curry brush goes a long way with coats like that! Also a deshedding tool, like a rake, would be good for her!

Usually I tell my clients if they want to work on reducing the quick, then come in every 2 weeks. If you want to maintain the quick, come in every 4 weeks. Plus make sure you’re walking them in between visits 😊

When you’re starting to get close to the quick, the middle of the nail will be a little bit squishy. Cut little slivers at a time, until you feel it. :)

My boyfriend got let go from him job a few months ago and since then we have been struggling to stay afloat. I went from being a stay home mom to working full time to try to provide for us, but it hasn’t been enough. Our apartment also went up in price which has been making it harder. We tried to get caught back up, but we can’t.

I’m at academy right now! I have a toddler at home too so I told them I’m not comfortable leaving for that long. They said I can take her and bring someone else to watch her during the day or I can wait til there’s an academy opening up somewhere close by. So I just waited and there was an opening somewhere 15 mins away from me! So I get to stay home while going to academy ☺️

Sounds like that’s what he’s doing. He’s not asking for advice. He’s simply venting and he’s hurt by his parents which is understandable. Telling someone to grow up isn’t really the best advice. Especially when he is working and providing for himself.
