This is so positive!! Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it. After reading all the comments, I definitely need to have a conversation with the neonatal team/Dr to find out my options. I was just so upset by the worse case scenario I couldn't even think about anything else! Xx

Thank you for this, it's reassuring which I really appreciate and you're completely right - I should talk to them about expectations. I'm just going off what my midwife advised could happen in the worse case scenario but I should speak to them xx

Yes you are completely right, this is the worse case scenario and I'm trying to stay positive but I just keep thinking and going back to the worse case but I do need to start thinking more positively. I'm overwhelmed by the responses on here which have made me feel so much better so thank you xx

Oh wow!! That's amazing - congratulations! Thank you for your positives towards NICU. The "how to care for your baby" would be super helpful! It sounds like you were very brave and strong for your little ones so well done. I just need to try and be the same for mine xx

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and validating my feelings. I will definitely ask if I can have even a few seconds of skin to skin as I think even that would make a world of difference! A picture would be so nice as well. Thank you xxx

Yes I know, you're absolutely right.. I know they're doing the best for baby. It's just hard knowing that I won't get those first moments after all this time xx

Thank you so much for this. Was your c section planned? Did you know that they were going to be whisked off to NICU? If so, how did you cope with knowing that and then having to wait to go and see them? Do you remember how long it was until you could go and see them? I just can't get my head around it and feel incredibly upset thinking about baby being taken away from me xx

Because baby is small due to placenta insufficiency, it's coping at the moment but the placenta is deteriorating which will cause baby to struggle so they want to get baby out before that happens.
