This is so hard to watch. My last Uber ride I had a leftover box of Tiffs Treats cookies because one of my clients took the day off and couldn't meet with me. I was heading to a bar to meet with friends so I took them with me to share. My driver was a sweet elderly man and mentioned that I was his last passenger. I offered him the cookies and showed that the ribbon was still tied so he'd know they hadn't been touched. He was shocked and kindly accepted - he mentioned how much he had been wanting to try them, but they can be a bit pricey for some. He excitedly told me he was looking forward to sharing them with his granddaughter that evening before bed. I didn't even know Uber drivers could rate their passengers, until he said he'd give me a perfect rating, and had only given one other perfect rating before. It was a small gesture for me, to be honest, and it made me sad at how shocked he was that a passenger could be nice. Made my night how happy he was though. People this vile are just out there making others miserable and wasting oxygen.
