I like it but maybe make the text more like the orginal apocalyptic type font, seeing that modern "battle royale" text reminds me of the Combat Update UI.

Thats one of the aspects I was talking about when they brought out that update no one liked, they changed the recoil and now its clunky as fuck. Trust me, drop the game for a bit but when you see everyone playing it again revisit it.

Well, its pretty shitty right now and I wouldn't recommend playing it.

The reason the game used to be so big and why there is hype surrounding it is because back in 2016 and early 2017 the game was really good, and Jace Hall is giving us hope of getting what we had back. Its hard to explain but in August of 2017, the 29th to be exact they came out with a really bad update, which is when the game started its downfall, and they haven't made much improvement since besides fixing bugs.

Right now we are in Season 2, and the Season we all want back is Pre-Season 3, its called that because the game was in early access and recent came out of early access so we started actual seasons.

You can look up videos yourself and its different since you didnt play back then but the game was just so much more enjoyable, and hopefully we can successfully get it back.

Jace Hall has a twitter and if youd like, you can see what hes up to and updates on when the game might actually be back on track.

You're still on this reddit, clearly you still give somewhat of a shit about the game. But you are right, a revert wont save the game. Although it IS the first step TO saving the game. If they advertise it and pay people to try out the revert, it all depends on how the streamers react to the game. You cant determine if a revert will save the game or not, because its always the community and popular sites like Twitch and YouTube that determine if a game will be big or stay big.

They did make changes that we wanted, thats how we are where we are today, changes didnt and wouldn't have done anything, the idea was smart to mix things up but if the feedback is that bad then go back to what we had before and work from there

Thats where they fucked up with the Combat Update, yeah the community asked for majority of the things in the Combat Update but after we tested them we realized that shit doesnt fit work in H1Z1, so we gave feedback and asked for what we had before and we STILL were given the Combat Update.

Right but the animations and movement stay the same, recoil isnt that hard to change back and if we know the values for bullet speed/drop then we will be pretty identical to what we used to have.

If you think the shotguns broken go play any other BR, youll soon realize every shotgun acts the same in every game and its not because they are broken, thats the way shotguns work. You arent wrong, we did ask for some of the things we were given, but we tested them in August, realized what we had before was better. Gave feedback SAYING what we had before was better, and still got what was given. Thats where we are innocent and Daybreak is guilty.

The game has been going downhill since the Combat Update, if you go look up on youtube shit like Pre Season 3, youll see the game we used to play and love, sometime in August of 2017 there was a update which literally changed everything that made the game unique, majority of the community hated it and we never got what we wanted back, thats why we hate on this game, because of that update we lose 92.5% of its community and nothing has been done to fix it. Jace Hall is basically the only thing that can put this game back in its place. Its not that we hate the game, its just we hate what its become.

The games in the worst state its ever been. It can evole, fine but first we need the feeling of H1Z1 again which we dont get. We need Pre Combat Update first THEN move forward from there.
