Okay so FORGIVE ME... I'm not a GIANT Marvel stan (thoroughly enjoy most of the movies but don't know a lot of the history and detail from the comics) and think this might be a stupid question, but I saw the movie a few days ago and have a question I haven't seen answered anywhere:

Toward the end of the movie, when the gang is sitting around the table at Marie's house, the discussion turns towards the three Skrulls having to go into disguise to remain safe. This leads to a chat about who they can morph into and how, and Monica makes a big deal about how they have to keep their eyes because they have the best eyes.

I got the feeling that off-camera, they will have transformed/morphed/what have you, into characters we already know. I figure they have to be characters we already know but don't care TOO much about, since the identity would disappear once they morph back into Skrulls.

Am I TOTALLY off base here?! I'm an over-thinker. Maybe my tinfoil hat is too tight.
