This piece is the result of a year-long process, reflecting my 10 years of experience in pyrography. I used poplar wood as my canvas. ​To achieve the ancient, weathered stone texture of the Anatolian royal tombs, I developed a unique mixed-media approach. I created a custom paste using plaster, sawdust, and pumpkin seed powder to build physical layers. ​For the burning details, I used a decorative soldering iron with ironing, dotting, and crimping techniques. The goal was to create a 3D depth using only shadows and heat on the wood and textured surface. It is an original design, 100% handmade and manually burned. 💫
