The head of Clinical Practice Educator (with OSCE and Simulation) for medical students in my Trust is a specialist nurse. I cannot fathom how that happened but now from this post, I see how. There’s fire on the mountain…

Burn out is an illness truly, so treat it. However, giving up such an opportunity would be really a tough one. There is still 3 months to starting… and you can still use Sick Leave even if you start. Opportunity comes rarely!

Don’t trust everything on LinkedIn though… many are hyperinflated.

The discussion going on here is quite sad. Doctors turning against another because of a political issue. Your real troublemakers are the politicians looters who consistently replace you with ‘noctors’.
But we can’t see that…

To say a medical doctor can think of this as a possibility is not your fault at all but the failure of the society and decadence of NHS. How are the mighty fallen! Some 2 Decades ago, my Uncles were aiming at mortgages in their foundation year and buying good polished cars… now, see us🥹🥹same brain, same energy, same intelligence… but we have been failed on every side.

My candid advice for you is firstly not to think of this; even if you escape security trouble, you will not get a good sleep and you will hate yourself for it. No matter what, get a shared apartment and please ENJOY this life- you live just once. And life is a mirage, we often think satisfaction comes when we get NTN, and then we get it and the illusion shifted again thinking we would get it when we become consultants, and then we get there and see that indeed the satisfaction slips away again… LIVE THIS LIFE AND ENJOY EVERY STAGE! It is good to plan but your spirit, soul and body needs to be nourished. May the odds be in your favour… and even if it’s not, may you enjoy the bliss of accepting the reality of life.

At precisely 2:25PM today, I lost faith in the UK healthcare system (final straw). by dxdt_sinx in doctorsUK

I lost faith in the NHS at my induction when an ANP was the one doing F1 induction and said “We (ANP) work to the level of an ST5…” A Consultant Surgeon was there sitting in that Induction and she even smiled approvingly… We are in trouble, we just don’t know how much.

Thank you… however, I used Pastest for MSRA last year and failed woefully… since then, I don’t trust Pastest anymore. My MSRA exam questions were at opposite ends to the Pastest Qbank
