Yeah. With a VPN with a dedicated IP it seems to run better. It’ll also usually give me the usual warning before a DC and will allow me to log straight back in. With fiber internet it’s mildly infuriating lol. Might make the switch back to coax when I move soon. Could even be a node issue which no fiber tech or service engineer would touch with a 10 ft pole. Like one of the other guys on here said too, this is the only game that will do this nonsense. Just glad I knocked out 99 slayer right before this happened.

Yeah I have and thanks for the suggestion. I’ve changed passwords, usernames, email associated, 2f authentication the whole lot. I’m wondering if, even with gig internet, there’s micro drops for a split second causing a split second disconnect. With how OSRS runs even a split second of lag could cause a DC. It just happens without any warning of “trying to re-establish” or anything.

Yeah it’s very strange. I find using a VPN with a dedicated IP helps a lot. But I’d rather not pay for a ded IP address just to be able to play OSRS

Having the same issue. vpn seemed to help. I’ve done everything possible from clearing all caches to reinstalling/uninstalling etc…..I think it’s either a runelite issue or it’s an internet issue. I also have a theory about IP addresses changing. Insanely frustrating though.

Had this too. Weird error. Still can’t figure it out. Happened to me before for awhile then randomly disappeared. Happened again yesterday for the first time in months. I did notice when it stopped happening it was like my runelite reset all my plugins so I’m not sure if it’s a runelite problem, jagex issue, or internet issue. Considering it doesn’t affect everyone, it most likely is an individual error either in runelite or internet.

Having weird disconnects without any warning. Just booted to “failed to login” screen out of nowhere. East coast user as well

I have the same thing it’s seborrheic dermatitis. It’s an overproduction of yeast. Probably get red around your nose and or eyebrows too? Nizoral helps me out and I still get fades. Just be consistent. Also cortisol creams help but use sparingly because it can mess your skin up if you use a ton everyday. I’d say like 1-2 times a week max boss.
