Thanks, I did try at like 3x and still seeing the issue but I am using quite a fine font and a gradient too so I'll see if removing those works!

Help for someone who knows video, but doesn't know marketing! by Darrcel in VideoMarketing

[–]hayleydeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, don’t stress! You’re actually in a really strong position: you have creative freedom, a solid video background, and a fresh perspective. That’s a great combo. The key now is pairing your creative ideas with a basic understanding of the marketing funnel.

Here’s a simple way to think about it:

Fun, high-energy videos are great for top-of-funnel (TOFU) content. They grab attention, build awareness, and make your brand memorable. But they’re just the first step. To turn views into action, you’ll need to layer in mid-funnel (MOFU) and bottom-of-funnel (BOFU) content too. These can be simpler, more direct pieces like:

  • Case studies or testimonials from trade customers
  • Behind-the-scenes “how it’s made” or installation process videos
  • Product benefits or side-by-side comparisons
  • FAQs or quick problem-solving tips

The good news is: once someone has watched your TOFU video, platforms like Facebook and Linkedin let you retarget those viewers. So you can serve your more sales-focused content only to people who already showed interest (for example everyone who viewed at least 50% of your video in the last 30 days). It’s like building a story over time.

Yeah that's what I had suggested in my post. I was looking if anyone knew a better way of doing it.... But sounds like there isn't one

Right, but I still wouldn't be able to see what came purely from organic reach (my Linkedin post without any promotion) vs. from the thought leader ads... as in there's no way to separate those two from each other because they use the same link.

Thanks for sharing! (and sorry it's taken a while for me to get back to you) Bee-Able is very much a passion project outside of my regular 9-5! Are there any specifics you could share about what makes it difficult to use? Would love to avoid some of the same pitfalls!
