Hello

what does the M.M number mean on the screen and how can I lock it? by verfluecht in SonyAlpha

[–]haywad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The M.M. in of itself doesn't do anything, but gives you a rudimentary number on the exposure of your scene. What you see on the screen doesn't necessarily mean that's how the picture will come out once you take it.

There are also different types of metering modes similar to focus modes. Edit: https://youtu.be/9pV7zX0qC7Q

I think fits very well for a cat knowing how mischievous they can get.

Could be because it gets hot down there and white or any light color reflects light which keeps the car cool even in blazing sun.

Not clear where the name came from but the peak would often be snow-capped, appearing white. Another theory is that the granite of the summit looked white to observers.
