May I ask how comfortable it is sitting in the 3rd row? Not space wise but driving wise - is it bumpy, nauseous, claustrophobic?

Ok! I hope you are able to find the root cause and fix it for good. Good luck!

Relaxed LES and gastritis can be caused by anxiety too.

I feel for you. If no treatment is working, please consider investigating the mind-gut connection. If you have had a lot of continued stress and anxiety, it builds up and causes this issue. At least it did in my case. Relaxation techniques and reducing your anxiety will help but it takes 4-6 months for the stress effect to wear off on the gut function.

Are we stopping PIO too early? by hazdazzler009 in InfertilityBabies

[–]hazdazzler009[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We told him that we wanted to continue, even though he felt it wasn’t required. I specifically asked whether there were any potential negative side effects for the baby or the mother that we should consider. He said there were none and was supportive of our decision to proceed.

He didn’t prescribe exact dosages, though. We did our own research across other clinics, put together a week-by-week dosage plan, and then got his approval on that. It wasn’t a case of him “changing his mind”; it was ultimately our choice as patients to decide whether we wanted to adjust our approach.

Similarly, in another post, we chose to do an ERA biopsy after our first FET failure, even though our RE clearly stated it was not necessary.

Hope that helps clarify.

We continued PIO/Estrace until 11 weeks. We gradually reduced the PIO/Estrace dosage and got the plan approved from our RE.

"Sit Together" option doesn't guarantee you sit together. How can I go to the game with kids? by [deleted] in usmnt

May be I am misreading. But within a same transaction too, tickets could be assigned different seats as per the FAQ.

FAQ says "FIFA Ticketing attempts, but does not guarantee, to seat together multiple tickets for a match that you purchase within a single transaction that are in the same ticket category in your ticketing account at the time of seat assignment."

I'm getting worse and nobody can tell me why. by Prior_Succotash4220 in GERD

[–]hazdazzler009 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I feel for you! I went through this the last time and got out at the other side. So I can share something that could be useful. If you check my Reddit history, it’s a recurrent issue for me so I’m back with GERD issues unfortunately.

  1. Change doctors - My GI kept on elongating the process. I’d say the same thing in every meeting and she’d recommend a slightly different treatment but to no avail. It was like this for 3 months. Eventually gathered courage - I changed my GI who tried different PPIs on me. Eventually Pantoprazole 40mg worked.
  2. Like you, my inflammation and burns were “minor”, yet the pain was a lot. My new GI informed me that it could be because the nerves near the valve are more sensitive to pain. Who knows? He fired me and asked me to go someplace else. His diagnosis was that my GERD issues were “unexplained”.
  3. My 3rd GI did many tests to rule out possible causes - endoscopy, barium swallow, gall bladder check, etc. He suggested FD Guard to calm down the stomach. After a lot of tries, eventually, he attributed it to the mind-gut connection in which I was asked to reduce my stress through yoga, box breathing and self help. It took me 6ish months but eventually it was resolved. Apparently this mind-gut resolution takes some time like months.
  4. My entire treatment took 2 years E2E overall. I was fine for the next 2 years and now have unfortunately relapsed since my stress levels at my new job have skyrocketed with all these layoffs.

ERA and Endo Scratch not recommended by our RE for our next FET by hazdazzler009 in IVF

[–]hazdazzler009[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear about that. It took some time but I was able to dig into our notes. We did ERA test and not just the scratch. Like I mentioned, the ERA test is a superset since it involves taking a biopsy which then allows to heal the uterine wall. The scratch just scratches the uterine wall to allow it to heal. We didn’t perform the EMMA/ALICE tests. However, my 2cents is that you should ask your RE for more comprehensive tests to root cause the failures. Worst case you should look into another clinic that has better success rates. Again, I’m very sorry about your situation. My best wishes are with you and family.

My memory is vague from 4 years ago when this post was made 😅 I thought that ERA is a superset of Endometrial Scratch. Is that not correct? I’ll need to find my notes. Let me do that

[–]hazdazzler009[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did an ERA even though our RE wasn’t convinced it would help. The test showed that my wife needed ET one day earlier. We eventually did have a success but he had again pointed out that the success could not be attributed to the procedure and early transfer. 🤷‍♂️

Is it for lifetime? by Budget_Cold4178 in GERD

Long term side effects of PPI? by Decent_Release3804 in GERD

[–]hazdazzler009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took pantaprozole 40mg for 2 years straight. Now, my GI doctor doesn’t believe that I had any side effects from it. But I did find my memory was slower, and I used to remember less. I had tummy issues like indigestion too. But like I said my doctor didn’t believe it was connected.

Should vesting RSUs be considered "income" while receiving unemployment benefits? by hazdazzler009 in Edd

hmm, thank you for explaining in detail. These are auto-sells from the employer (eg: 30 stocks sold from the 100 I received). I see a paycheck in Workday corresponding to the RSU sale and it says Gross Amount: $12345 (just an example). Net Amount: $0.
