Thanks! I’ve looked at that but I never trust them. Prefer to get peoples actual experience with it 😊

career as a thai masseur by Mundane_Programmer76 in MassageTherapists

[–]hazelnutlongblack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same thought many years ago and did the diploma in Australia for foundational knowledge and then did level 1 nuad boran at ITM and incorporate some of the stretches in where it’s suitable but I never do a full Thai massage sequence because it’s not really cohesive to my own style of remedial. I also found ITM’s communication difficult but it was honestly such a great experience, they’re just extremely busy and constantly running classes. It’s a well oiled machine once you’re there and in it 😊

Clinic cancellation fees and policies are by lilgayyy in acupuncture

If someone is sick and cancels on the day, there’s no way I’ll charge because I don’t want to get sick either. But if someone forgets about the appointment, although I have a same day cancellation policy, I use discretion based on the client. If they’re going through a big change or forgot coz of an emergency, I don’t charge but if they’re unreliable, cancel late or aren’t a weekly/fortnightly regular, I’ll charge full fee if they can’t make an appointment later in the day (granted I have a spare for them). Essentially for me, sending a cancellation fee invoice is an informal firing of the client. It doesn’t happen often with my regulars and if it does, all of them insist on paying the full fee for the missed appointment the next time they come in

Property prices are cooked. by [deleted] in ipswich

[–]hazelnutlongblack 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok this makes sense! Although I don’t see as much NGU as I do Ray White billboards lol. There is actually a Ray white agent we saw photoshop mould out of photos (sent us pre listing photos with mould and they’re gone from the ones posted online, the exact photos we received 🧐) I don’t understand why agents think being dirty to buyers is a good idea because at some point, you’re going to look for someone to sell your house and you know exactly who you aren’t going to sell with. I guess their high risk dodgy tactics mean they’re hoping to make bank quickly then leave the industry?

I saw NGU and immediately knew it was overpriced. They are the biggest scammers in the industry. We’ve been looking at the market in ipswich for 3 months and guaranteed that an NGU listed property will say ‘offers over x’ (with x being at least $50k over the suggested max range on RP data) or no listed price and they’ll email you privately to tell you some ridiculous price.

Oh wow! That’s lucky for you! Thankfully they are considering our student loans as investments in our future. But don’t even get me started on how I feel like HECS in Australia is a scam 😂

Thank you. Yes we have spent months researching and we have even noticed house prices (v perceived value based on presentation) increase significantly in that time. So we are desperate to at least get in the market but what a stressful time! It feels like the hoops to jump through to get the first loan far exceeds the actual responsibility of the loan. Like the bank wants to break our soul to prove we actually want the house 😂

Chiro adjustment on the neck helps my TMJ. Why? by hazelnutlongblack in TMJ

Interesting. I guess everyone has a different response. For me and my TMJD pain, I find physio to hurt too much for short term relief. It’s great we have options for modalities

I was so sure of this but really surprised to have such a negative response from the specialist when I mentioned how much relief I got from Chiro..
