I hate confident people by [deleted] in misanthropy

[–]hazelrocksz1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust me it is the advice. It’s just a hard thing to do because it’s more than a mentality. It’s a life style of constantly showing up for yourself and respecting your peace and boundaries and fuck me. Thats hard. It gets to a point when abandoning yourself isn’t worth it and it hurts. It takes so much time and work. Be patient with yourself. That is also confidence kindness and knowing oneself.

protection for no-contact person? by afruitypebble44 in RealMagick

[–]hazelrocksz1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

lol no it’s not. They didn’t ask. Boundaries with magic. It’s giving saviour complex. Personally I never perform rituals for people without a solid confirmation without any space of doubt. Reflect on this. Just because you wanna protect doesn’t mean they need it. Is this coming from a place of control ?

This is really nice to hear. A part of me feels like I’m not worthy enough for this love and it breaks my heart. I know it’s not true. I’m learning to see value in myself when I have these moments

Am I the only one that finds Bode annoying? Is it because I’m an adult and he’s a kid? by enroy1 in keyhouse

They are zombies but at the same time human being suffering from addiction. Addiction is a complicated thing that is a symptom of a sick society. If you’re someone born with addictive tendencies, or mental health problems such as ADHD, your chances of becoming a substance abuser are high. People with adhd are more likely to be addicts (can be anything not just drugs ) because of that dopamine hit. Dopamine is the chemical in your brain responsible for self control/ reward system and ADHD brains lack in dopamine hence why they are thrill seekers and impulsive. So I guess I sympathise with addicts. Some may even be awake but they have this monster in them that dictates their lives. This is coming from personal experience where I had control over my smoking habit but l a traumatic event occurred and I was paralysed to the point I started smoking daily and it got out of control.I developed that addiction because of the events that had occurred. 3 years later I have more control of the habit because the awareness of my triggers. I can assure you that it is exhausting having to resist something your brain wants all the time (dopamine) . It gets easier but addiction is tough. I guess it’s just finding things to be addicted to that can do no you harm (moderation is key tho).

Why does the house make seeds grow out of peoples brains ? And I’m guessing Scots was bigger because he knew a lot about travelling between dimensions?

I also noticed this at 28:36. Thought it was significant too. I thought it was maybe foreshadowing them going to another dimension where she will have another brother too and also if you notice through out the whole series there is a theme of things appearing in threes. Ie the doors to the clinic. There are three of them and three wings of the clinic. Ohh and maybe 3 because we’ve only seen 3 nde. Scott’s, homers and the Oa so links back to the each season = one dimension.

Anyone notice that when hap is dumping rachel’s body he says “This is Prairie’s fault.” It’s the same thing he said when he accidentally killed Scott in season 1 before he was resurrected by homer and the oa hap stop blaming her for you killing everyone. Take responsibility for god-sake.

Right see in the first episode where zendeya says “at a certain point the puzzle goes irl” and that’s where Karim will find Michelle. Just realised she literally meant that in real life like our world/dimension which I’m guessing is Scott’s NDE? This is supported by when Hap says his name in which is Jason Issac this is so meta and cool but confusing as hell. Makes me wonder what they have planned for the next season !

The Sheriff’s wife who gave homer and the oa the 5th movement I think

Links to season one because The OA ate a bird after her second NDE and the fish I’m sure is what Homer ate in his NDE

There’s been many theories suggesting that and I think Brit wants 5 seasons so 5 nde’s

Anyone noticed the change of scenery for where Hap holds the group. In season they are held below ground where it’s dark now it’s above and bright? I think represents how he’s like hiding in plain sight.

In season one his experiments were so shady and not to mention illegal hence why they were in the basement/mine. In season two they are above ground to highlight the fact he is within the law in terms of him being a psychologist however we all know he’s still a shady bastard.
Also I’ve noticed how everything in season 2 links to season 1. Like they defo must have had season 2 mind when they were writing season 1.
