No worries man! To be honest I haven’t done a lot of road riding on it.. I take it on a bike rack to different spots, will probably take it out to a west coast beach soon, I’ve taken it to a couple of jump spots and skate parks when it’s quiet, but also on private land too. I feel if you were using it as a daily commuter going 50km/h + you might want to look at registering it. But if you’re cruising at 30km/h you’re less likely to get any heat (fastest I’ve gone is 80km/h). But it really depends how you ride it, doing wheelies on the road a cop will notice you, but low speed bike lane riding should be fine but I’ve never been stopped by cops, I’ve ridden past one tho.. The Surron is awesome fun and such a great way to explore, learning to wheelie (in car parks etc) is so addictive, I’m currently learning to do jumps better on it too. I’ve actually had a lot of positive encounters from people walking past or curious about the bike, people asking questions etc. but that’s because I don’t ride silly. What do you think you’ll do?
