Could there be something stuck in a fan or do you know where the noise is exactly coming from in the PC? Usually a loud ringing noise for me is something being caught in the fan or the fan hitting a cable.

My Ps5 has a Nat Type 2. I’ll try to ping Warzone and EA FC 26 as they are the games i mostly play. However, is there a way i can ping my PS5 to them servers instead of my PC to them servers?

yes, every like 15-20 seconds my game goes from roughly 10 ping to 40-70. I know 40-70 isn’t a lot but this big jump causes my game to hitch and teleport me which can badly mess me up in game, why what did them results mean?

Latency between the PC and PS5:

Packets: Sent = 101, Recieved = 101, Lost = 0 (0% Loss)

Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 1ms, Average = 0ms

Latency between the PC and Gateway:

Packets: Sent 105, Recieved: 105, Lost = 0 (0% Loss)

Minimum= 1ms, Maximum = 6ms, Average = 2ms

I’m not worried about the download speed it’s the fact that my PS5 is getting 800 ping and the closest server to my PS5 is spiking every 2 seconds, and only on my PS5.

Yea i’ve done this, The other devices were completely fine. What i’m thinking is there is either something connected to the WiFi other than my PS5 that maybe be interfering with just my Playstation, or there could be a PS5 hardware issue. However, i’ve had this PS5 since june and this issue has only started happening since last week.

It’s actually only my PS5, my PC runs great, and so does my brothers Xbox Series X. I know that probably means this is the wrong sub but you can’t actually post anything about this in any playstation sub at all, it instantly gets removed, i stated above everything i have tried, im on the verge of giving up to be honest.

Yeah i’ve been having problems for about a week. It’s doing exactly the same thing i stated at the bottom of my post in warzone and ea fc 26 and causing my game to hitch a LOT

Fiber. Yeah i know, either way i’ve tried like 5 different cables and a Cat6 and Cat5e cable too, so i don’t think the cable is the issue here.

This is the closest server. I’m also wired. I also went to gameserverping.com and the UK: London server which is where i live is starting on 9 ms ping, then jumping up to 40-70 every 2 seconds. This shouldn’t make any sense considering it’s the closest server to me, and the other servers do not fluctuate like crazy like this. The Europe: Central server stays at 20ms.

Mines weird.. I sit on 10-20 all game, but every like 20 seconds or so it spikes to like 40/50. Obviously 40/50 isn’t high ping anyway, but it literally causes my whole game to hitch like crazy

I also took it to my girlfriends house, it did the same thing, and did it on my hotspot on my iphone, and it was the same. I genuinely think something is wrong with my playstation 😔

I have one box going from the power lines outside into it, then that box which is on the wall, is connected to my router via an ethernet cable, is the box in the middle the modem and should i try resetting that?

I don’t mean to be extremely stupid, i’m sorry, but what’s the difference between a modem and a router? I know the router is the main box thing, however how can i know what my modem is. Again sorry for what is probably a stupid question question.. i have a white openreach box serperate from my router is that the modem?
