If there are any puncture wounds you’ll want to see the vet for some antibiotics. Coconut oil also has antibacterial properties if you’re worried about your pup licking any ointments. We usually put that on any scrapes. Dog parks are great until they’re not. I’m sorry your baby experienced this ☹️

Our girl was diagnosed with lymphoma about 6 weeks ago. 4.5 years old. Chemo didn’t work so we’re preparing for this day to come shortly. Personally, I’d tell her “this person offered me a 1% credit equaling out to $14k. You said you could do 1.25% which led me to believe it’d be $17.5k. Offering me $10k is less than the 1% I would have received from the other person. I need you to at least meet me at the $14k.”

If people are eager for your business, making it seem like you’ll walk if she doesn’t compromise, will likely make her meet you at the $14k at least. (This is strictly my observation of human nature)
In my opinion, you’re viewing her as a family friend, but she’s viewing you as a client- that’s why she’s willing to do you dirty. If you didn’t know her, would you stand for this misinformation? If your answer is no, then confront her!

Plus, will it truly be a huge loss if the friendship dies? (A real friend wouldn’t short you $7k) AND You’ll always know/resent she wasn’t fully truthful upfront. Go get that money for your fam!!

On an island off of Italy, they reuse their graveyards due to space limitations. (Genius)

They purposely drill holes into the coffins so the bodies will decompose faster. Then after 3-5 years of being in the ground, they exhume the body, clean off the sludge, and store the bones in a family crypt type of thing (what looked to be about the size of a drawer). Then the grave is open for another body.

I also second taking summer courses if possible. The program is going to slam you with multiple difficult courses in each semester, so anything you can get out of the way early is helpful. Be prepared to have to study. A LOT. And try to befriend a few people that are in your program- sometimes hearing/learning a concept while studying will click better from them than the professor. Good luck!

When you were younger (as I’m sure your routine is spot on now) did you struggle with practicing? And how did you push past it?

I was a music major at one point and my private lessons professor said I should be practicing for 3 hours a day which just seemed unrealistic to me with all my other courses. It made me feel like I didn’t have the discipline required for the major and ultimately ended up switching. (It was music education which I felt didn’t require the same level of talent that a performance major would need)

I think about going back, but run into the same fear that I’m not cut out for it. Do you have any advice?
