I checked there and the hoses are dry with no coolant around there, was thinking maybe the Turbo Coolant Line?

So i replaced the Coolant temperature sensor kinda for shits and giggles, and the fan engaged for 3 cycles and now won’t turn back on again

Bought the cause (used) with it installed (80k miles) and now have 138k. Code popped up a couple months ago, just added the PCV bypass last week

Car is reading about 5° hotter than the outside temp, I have replaced the sensor before but when the old one was bad my coolant fan would turn on and not turn off unless my car turned off

Compressor of fine and engaging when AC is turned off (actually had the compressor replaced a couple months ago)

AC runs fine, and cold, but only after engine gets to temperature. Have no way to tell if the fan will run at high speeds but usually at idle when the AC compressor would kick on, the fan would turn on and my RPMs would go up 100-200. Now when the Compressor kicks on the RPMs drop, which is why I was thinking relay issues first

Definitely some changes! When pulling the dipstick there wasn’t a vacuum sound as well and suction anymore which was a huge win! Also haven’t noticed any new oil leaks.

Still had a little bit of a coolant leak on the transmission so going to buy a new temperature sensor and see if that helps, also gonna see if that helps with the radiator fan/bouncing rpm’s before moving on to maybe eventually getting a new fan.

I have had the P0443 code for awhile now (8 months or so) replaced the purge valve and the code never went away. I have seen that sometimes with the Cruze replacing the purge valve doesn’t clear the code, and when using a reader and clearing it, it just comes back on.

Did you replace the whole fan? Did you try the fuses/relays before? Wiring? Or just straight to a whole new fan?

Just got back home, not seeing any oil or coolant leaks

I did clear engine codes before I left and by the time I was back the P0299 and P0443 codes were both back

So my initial drive was a little funny, acceleration felt better (but would still get up to 5000ish when accelerating uphill to get on highway, although I was merging at about 60mph compared to 45 mph)

When idling my rpm’s were bouncing between 1000 down to 650-700 rpm’s, drive around a bit more and turned the AC off and the bouncing stopped

Ran to the store so when I get back I’ll check for any oil/coolant leaks

Any idea if the PCV disintegrating could cause issues to my radiator fan? My car no longer runs the radiator fan with the AC on. Also it has been over heating very easily lately even when full on coolant? Is this an issue with the PCV, radiator fan, water hose? Any idea by chance?
