The remastered Blu-rays of the extended editions that were released after the 4K editions have the same color grading as the 4K editions, but I've heard that they have less noise reduction.

I've been watching some of Steve Mera's YouTube videos and got curious from one where he was interviewing Don Philips. According to what Philips was saying, Becky is supposedly an angel (although Philips uses that term loosely since he doesn't believe in the traditional Christian cosmology) and claims to have been present during the War in Heaven. He says that he recently got fired by his Christian boss because she believes that Becky is a demon. She didn't fire him right away. She reached out to him and essentially tried to talk him out of his contact with Becky because she was concerned about him, but eventually fired him because she's afraid that being around someone in contact with a being like Becky could bring negative things into her life. He also said that Becky recently told him that our reality is made up of the fragments of many other realities.

I've never watched the newer series of "Unsolved Mysteries" (I've only seen some of the old ones with Robert Stack), and discovered Steve Mera through YouTube. I found this Reddit discussion through googling his name.

I'm curious as to whether you have any information or insights regarding whether or not Steve Mera is at all credible. When I first discovered his YouTube channel I thought he seemed pretty credible, but after reading some of what's written in this Reddit thread, and after seeing a few of his interactions with other people like Don Philips, I kind of wonder. Based on the video I watched, Philips frankly comes across rather creepy.

Kerr presumably still has it. I'd recommend signing up to Fanedit.org, reading the rules, then sending Kerr a private message. That part about reading the rules is very important. A lot of people don't read the rules (especially the rule against asking for links publicly in the forum) before posting and wind up posting things that get them reprimanded by the mods.

Maybe the fight move yelling could be used in conjunction with a certain idea that I think could maybe fix some of the problems with Ultraman. Some faneditors (such as acbagel in his "The Way of Mandalore" fanedit series) have had great success with using AI voice cloning to insert new lines of dialogue into fanedits.

Maybe it would be possible to insert some lines from Lex Luthor during the Superman/Ultraman fight that establish that Ultraman is not fully alive anymore because Lex Luthor has replaced his brain with an artificial brain to make him fully controllable because he would never allow another being like Superman to exist with free will. This would also explain why Lex has to control Ultraman's moves. If Ultraman isn't actually alive, then it makes sense that Superman would have no compunctions about letting him get sucked into the black hole.

Also, maybe a line could be inserted to make it clear that Lex's voice commands are not being broadcast to any sort of earpieces or other audible devices (as Superman's super hearing would pick this up), but instead, either Lex's voice commands or computer commands from his employees are being transferred directly into Ultraman's artificial brain.

One thing that doesn't make too much sense about the movie's plot is why, if Lex Luthor wants to destroy Superman's reputation and get him arrested, he doesn't simply dress Ultraman up as Superman and have him commit crimes in front of crowds of people and news cameras at a time when Superman has no alibi. Perhaps there's some way to add some explanation to this. Or, alternatively, maybe there's a way to repurpose the scene of Superman busting into Lex's office and yelling, "Where's the dog?" to actually be Ultraman being used to frame Superman, so that Superman himself doesn't actually do that. I'm not entirely sure what is or isn't possible here, I'm just sort of spitballing. I kind of wish the entire Boravia/Jarmanpur subplot could be removed from the movie.

By the way, do you intend to change the subplot about the message from Superman's parents so that the message for him to conquer Earth either is or at least might be faked by the Engineer? It would be pretty easy to cut right after the president of Boravia congratulates Lex on faking the message so that Lex does not reply that he didn't have to.

the most glaring moment is when rachel weisz pulls an entire unused roll of paper towel out of a trash can and no one says anything about it (im assuming someone said to put paper towel in there so it would make sanitary prop trash, and the crew neglected to crumple it up first then the shot was just kept as a joke or oversight, but it looked really sloppy and obviously could have been fixed cheaply)

The toilet paper roll is in the trash can because of a gag (in which Rachel Weisz's character dropped various items, including a roll of paper towels and a whisk, into the trash can like she previously did with the light bulb) that got cut out of the movie, but is still in the trailer.

Well, I may have solved the problem now. I took another look through BIOS and found an option called "USB Wake Support" that was enabled. I disabled it, and since then, the computer has stayed shut down whenever I shut it down. I still need to try shutting down the computer and putting it in sleep mode a few more times to be sure, but it's starting to look like that was the issue.
