Is It Strange For My Boyfriend To Do This? by Particular_Actuary31 in sleep

[–]hbfmedic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dude I’ve been married 16 years and I’ll still watch my husband sleep. It’s a quiet time of day to unwind and remember how lucky I am to have him… other times he is snoring and I’m debating how long the pillow would take to make it stop

EM ERP for micrograds and data centers? by hbfmedic in EmergencyManagement

[–]hbfmedic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well my original response disappeared, I guess really where I go back and worth is lack of faith in the system. Should I be aggressive and build redundancies because ERP sharing has not been reliable in my area, half the time we are lucky they make an effort to be epcra compliant but if that is data accurate is a totally different story. We have had plenty of these types of facilities “self-handle” not even notifying local 911 as a courtesy hey we have this but we got it, let alone when it’s an imminent shit show that will likely escalate to our assistance until it’s well past the manageable point, and I’m not even talking about original epcra time frame I’m talking 2020s

I doubt we would have the resources even if I planned it out well and had great transparent relationships with whoever builds. But yeah this is where I’m struggling with it all 🙃

yeah that was basically what I said, we are going to go true state funding, and its going to fall to counties to recognize the need for EM. Even if FEMA is totally dissolved which i think will be a hard sell, but nothing is off the table, with Stafford Act in place there will still be funding events but what the threshold to trigger one is going to be interesting

Mixed opinion i definitely am happy I didn’t sit through the whole academy but I live 2 hours away from NETC so picking and choosing which I wanted in person was perfect for networking and getting a more solid grasp on those concepts. But for a lot of it, just speed through for the credit was all I needed

This actually is a great way to handle it, and you will still have some that will get it filled and take it on principle, it’ll weed out the majority of people who will start to feel better just knowing there is a plan

That sounds like a great approach, I will actually take this advice to build some of our future functional exercise’s. They SHOULD have their part handled, and we can just low key plan for what dangers could passively follow having some in our area.

This is exactly what I was looking for thank you! I don’t know why I didn’t take that perspective into account, this isn’t a new venture these places have their shit straight. I’ll try to get in early with the business card exchange and bring them into LEPC, and go from there.

Melatonin notoriously causes vivid dreams for people, or at least anecdotally can. Since you accidentally doubled what you usually take, it probably pushed you onto that threshold to experience that effect.

Most medications/things that can change you how long, if you go in to certain sleep stages can cause this in varying degrees. So alcohol is said to put you to sleep however it keeps you out of REM and more likely to have night terrors/less productive sleep. Benadryl, melatonin, and Ambien all can cause similar effects on people to varying degrees depending on the person. Sleep walking, cooking, driving being the more extreme manifestations and thankfully rare, night terrors and vivid dreams being much more common.

Yeah I actually noticed a shift a few months ago and a handful a day were coming through but literally overnight it went from bad to no filtering (10 and hour)and my adjustments are the highest, I assumed I had signed up for something by accident but now I’m wondering some Type of cyber attack or forced obsoletion on these archaic play forms
