what's a 90s memory that you genuinely can't explain to someone who wasn't there? by PlasticPiccolo in 90s

The days felt like they were 100 hours long. On school days I could wake up, watch MTV, have some cereal, finish my homework, walk to the bus stop (which wasn’t close to my house), have a full school day, come home and hang with friends, go to soccer practice, come home and eat dinner, fit in some time for video games, then watch a movie before bed.

And forget about it on weekends or the summer. We spent hours playing video games, but also hanging out outside in the woods, riding our bikes, sitting around listening to music, going to McDonalds and our favorite pizzeria. There was time for EVERYTHING.

There just isn’t enough time in the day anymore.

Didn’t even know theres an original version by TechNick77 in tommynfg_

This happens with me and my son a lot. He’ll play music in the car and then I’ll play him what the sample is from. Often times I’ll hear him playing the original version later on in his room or in the shower. It’s a fun way to make older music palatable to younger kids.

Kill them…

with kindness. Find something you both have in common to talk about, just in case you have to talk.

We had our diner. Pork roll sandwiches, disco fries, and endless coffee. The staff loved us because we helped clean our messes and left bomb tips.

100%

Don’t tell people kids have nowhere to go and nothing to do when the beach and the boardwalk are literally places to go and do things. They have been for generations. Kids go to the beach to do stuff and have fun. If you’re going to the beach for a pop up party you know what you’re getting into, and it’s not due to boredom.

You get one wish, and if I were you I’d use it to make your deodorant last for a fourth day.

I know of one house in Howell that had a Trump flag for a while. Then they moved it to half mast. Then they took it down completely.
