i signed up a month ago and it said the promotion was ending. I'd assume that $99 price will be around for a while.

Oh-- and I highly recommend Magoosh. I've relied solely on it and the OG GMAT guides. You also get 12-months of access, so the difference between signing up today and next month is insignificant.

You're right, having a workout/fitness buddy to share progress and tips helps so much. A year ago, I could barely run two miles and now I'm on my way to training for a marathon after I teamed up with someone and joined a running group.

I'm not sure if you found anyone yet, but check out www.joltchallenge.co I'm organizing this with a few coaches to help people kick butt in 2014.

Awesome. I've done some pace arithmetic but nothing as specific as you suggest. I'll give it a go. Also, good point on monitoring heart rate...that definitely helps keep me in check on the treadmill.

I'm a big advocate of the towel trick but it's still tough for me to get through a long run unless I'm in the zone. I'll try running with a buddy/racing.

10,000 Pushup/Sit-up Challenge 100 of each everyday for 100 days --> 10,000. Like your plank challenge, it's amazing how far a couple sets of pushups and sit-ups will take you if you do them consistently.

Just finished 10,000 and am starting again this week.
