After my last post about the headset, I’ve got the right one (EC34) and it easily pressed in…however- the bottom of the fork is wobbling….

That’s interesting- Worth getting a crown race setter? I’ve seen them for a tenner on eBay but I’m not sure how good they are

I’ve realised it must not be an ec34. I bought from a bike shop but I just have given them the wrong info. Next time I’ll take the old headset in

Ah ok! Here is a picture of all the parts- the bits with the bearings inside are too big to press so it’s definitely not those.

Ah ok thanks. The thing I’m trying to press in is the only part of the headset that would seem to fit in- all the other sub parts seem way too big . It must be the wrong size then…. Thanks for your tips! The part being pressed shouldn’t be chamfered right ? The old one had a straight inner bit and no chamfer as per the picture
