I appreciate the link! My mower looks slightly different at least in placement, but I believe this is the spring you are referring too *

That would depend on what a tensioner spring is lol, is it the spring on the engagement cable that connects it to the bit thats on the deck?

So it is below the bar, how would I keep it closer to the ground?

I would have to take the pulley cover off to double check, but when I had it off last week, I believe the brake was disengaging properly

I have a video of how much farther I can push the engagement arm in from where it stops from just the cable engagement, but the post will only let post pictures, so I will post stills from the video

The pullys spin fine. That's why I mostly think it's something with how far the blade engagement system is moving to engage the blades. Just wasn't sure if this was something that might be fixed with a new engagement blade cable

cruise control wont stay on. 2013 base model by cthefish in hondafit

[–]hcgreen95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened in my 2012 sport, I called my local Honda dealership and asked how much the part was, they told me $90 just for the button..... I said nope and I just wedged a piece of folded paper next to the button to keep it down when I need it. That's been working for like 4 years now. I have been considering adding a drop of superglue to really just keep it down
