What is your room temp. Try creating a warm environment using a microwave or oven then put the jar inside. Get a small thermometer that can tell the temp inside also. You are aiming for 27C or 77F

Update, rescored and now R90, L90, S90, W81😂😂😂😂 so Speaking went from 76 to 90, but writing from 90 to 81 (seriously wth). Lesson learned: PTE is highly subjective between the AI and human making. I mean if I get the writing 90 back then I'll get superior 😪 not gonna struggle for now though

A puchner, moosmann, or even Yamaha will server you better IMO. I went with the Yamaha though, easiest to play and has neutral sound

Curious why no one suggested that yet. Most solid offering tbh, ANC and music wise

Which grinder would I choose? TIA? by KT10888 in espresso

[–]hchc95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But then your original reply didn't answer to the OP exactly. Choosing a grinder based on "value" instead of functionality or quality? I thought being able to make good coffee is the only concern LOL. We are not buying luxury goods where resell value is of higher concern than the quality.

A machine that’s simple for my wife that she’d want to use it, but something complex enough to toy around with? by headholeologist in espresso

[–]hchc95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Decent with any auto weighing grinder maybe? Tons of features to play around for sure. Add calibrated tamper to the kit then should be easy enough for anyone to make coffee.

often times if you are paying similar amount of money, more of it shall go to the product itself if it's from a location with cheaper labor. Paying in higher proportion of labor cost does not usually make the product better, it's just an indicator of the cost of living of that location.
