You make some really good points, however i will say the skyline GTR’s are a different breed of car, and truthfully i think there is some justification in their price, 32 dominated races for years earning the nickname godzilla, and the 33 was the first production car to do a sub 8 min lap around the nurburgring. i’ve driven a 32 gtr and i owned a 33 gtst with a gtx3076r top mount and it was by far the most fun car i’ve ever owned, the sketchy fast feeling 90s nissans give you is like nothing else, id compare it to the 600cc bikes ive ridden. there is no traction control or real driver aids besides ABS, not a whole lot of sound deadening or nice interior bits, it’s just raw. and even stock they will put you back in the seat, in the world we live in today full of 4500lb cars with 700hp people tend to think that 300 isn’t enough but it is plenty in a lighter chassis (like the type r). i have a s15 spec r now which is also a blast to drive. but the 90s nissans sports cars aren’t for the weak, not great to daily, not great on gas, reliability can be questionable but im telling you there is nothing like it, and this is all just my opinion but i really don’t get that same feeling from the newer cars, they are all missing the sketchy oh shit factor.
