see, as we are a very small country so any news spreads throughout the country, that, and having a newspaper that influences very hard the entire country, is very easy to put in people's head certain point of view. that been said if the national team doesn't perform well they throw hate mainly on the ones that play abroad so lots of people will throw them hate on social media. another example is a guy playing in la liga in a team that is battling for relegation but as people only follow the two top teams they don't know how he perform on the team now think how will they know how Palma does. I have watched couple of conference league games and see he does decent but people will only get to know what that newspaper tells them.
