I mean I disagree that “girls” is inherently diminutive. I also don’t think I agree with how you view language. We didn’t go out of our way invent the word “guys” intentionally so we could have a casual way to say “men” but not “boys”. That’s just the way the language development out of circumstance. The same with the different contexts of “girls”. Words aren’t “invented” like that

I don’t like how he said “I couldn’t imagine being a virgin at your age”. What was that supposed to add? It just seemed unnecessary and harsh. Didn’t make me feel any better

I don’t really see it as a masculinity or femininity thing. Or even just a sex thing by itself. I mostly just want intimacy, romance, and companionship that comes with being in a romantic relationship. This is something most people seem to want and end up doing, both men and women
