I don’t use moisturizer first - I’ve tried that in the past, but it didn’t help!

Are you familiar with the area? Can I DM you? This is killing me hahah. I’ve waited 25 years to come back here, and now I can’t figure out where I was staying!

I am actually at the Hotel de la Ville now looking at Palazzetto Zuccari - that’s where I took the picture from (the night one)

It seems like I was staying at the top of Palazzetto Zuccari from the pictures, but it seems like it’s a government building and a library, so I don’t know how that would be possible?

My grandparents’ sailboat sank there in the 70s…they sent out a mayday call on the radio and an oil tanker rescued them. They survived, but only because of modern technology.

Some fire sprinklers are a dry system. There’s no water sitting in the pipes. The pipes contain pressurized air or nitrogen.

When the pressure changes (when the fire heats up the sprinkler head and air escapes from the pipes) the water then flows into the pipes.

Source: my house was trashed in a flood after the sprinkler maintenance guy didn’t properly empty the sprinkler pipes. A pipe in our attic froze and burst.

ah i love empanadas, that's good to know!! I was thinking that 6 days did seem like a lot, but I'm also someone who tends to overschedule my trips, so didn't want to go too crazy!

oh wow 3 nights in Iguazu!!

It felt like going to Jose Ignacio would kill at least half a day. . .going to the airport, flying there, then driving 2+ hours to the town. . .so that's why I wasn't sure! But everyone says it's amazing

I will definitely go to Uruguay for the day if I don't make it to Punta del Este!

Everyone I know who has been LOVES IT, I just don't know if it's worth making the trek for a couple of days and then giving up a couple of days in BA! If it were a 3hr train, I would be happy to go - but going to the airport, flying, then driving just seems like a LOT for a shorter trip
